I've tried to give readers of this CV sufficient information for them to recognise me.  If you think that our paths have crossed, please e-mail me - it would be lovely if this led to meeting up with old friends.  My full name is William Angus Davies.  In my early years - up until about 1961 - I was known as 'William', and at Welbeck College and Sandhurst I was known as 'Wad' or 'Waddy'.  Since 1964 I've been a 'Bill'.

1943  Born in Carshalton, Surrey (actually in St Helier Hospital where ex-Prime Minister John Major was also born).
